Set sail to Gruissan! Join the pirate crew led by our tour guide, who will embody Jacques Corneille, a 17th-century pirate, during the tour. Stranded in Gruissan, he will share the thrilling adventure of his life with you. As the Tower of Barbarossa has become his anchor point, he will reveal its history to you.

Get to Know Your Guide/Character:

Jacques Corneille was a merchant on the verge of making a fortune when his fleet was attacked by pirates. Captured with his son, he was sold as a slave in Barbary. After his escape, he ended up in Gruissan and became a pirate with the hope of finally finding his son, who had been recruited into the crew of the notorious Barbarossa.
