What you can expect:
Program
We invite you to journey through time and experience a bygone era known as the Belle Époque, marked by significant technological, social, and economic progress that propelled Paris into a new era of boundless possibilities. The culmination of this era was the 1900 Universal Exhibition, from which architectural wonders still remain along the banks of the Seine. We will discuss notable events in French history, including technological advancements that improved daily life, such as automobiles, the arrival of the Paris Metro, and the first airplanes. We will also explore influential figures of the time with a focus on women, including Marie Curie and her scientific breakthroughs, as well as political affairs that shook public opinion, like the Dreyfus Affair. We'll delve into the intellectual world with authors like Zola and Proust and the artists who redefined art, breaking away from academic art, and the emergence of new artistic movements like Art Nouveau. It was a period that seemed like the calm before the storm of two world wars!
Get to Know Your Guide/Character:
Meet Maria Angustias Morales Molina, a foreign tourist who arrived in Paris to discover the magnificent Universal Exhibition and fell in love with the City of Light, where she stayed until her death, just a month before World War I. She adored this era so much that her natural passing has frozen her soul in that specific time frame. She vehemently denies anything that may have happened after her time. Everything in the Paris she was fortunate to experience is so beautiful that we advise you to let her guide you through this period. This visit is filled with printed images, a cheerful atmosphere, historical facts presented in an amusing and accessible manner, allowing you to relive a remarkable period in history!

Super visite
